Jakarta Motorcycle Show Event

Upcoming Bikes 2010-2011 Super Sports HeavyBikes Two ’strange’ automatic scooter on Suzuki’s booth on Jakarta Motorcycle Show have really cached visitors’ attention. The two strange scooter, named SD-01 and SD-02, have unique and futuristic design. There’re only limited information about the ‘aliens’. Yamaguchi, Suzuki’s 2 wheels promotion manager, only mention that these bikes are transformation of the former one, Suzuki Spin. These bikes also have already brought to public on the Bangkok International Motor Show last April. Will this bikes sold to public market? I’m not sure,.. it’s just a concept bikes I think.
Jakarta Motorcycle Show Event
Jakarta Motorcycle Show Event  at Indonesia's automotive industry, particularly two-wheeler this year is experiencing booming sales, after last year was lackluster because of the global financial crisis struck. One of the drivers of the motor industry's biggest motor show in Indonesia will again be held on November. 2nd annual motorcycle exhibition, titled Jakarta Motorcycle Show (JMCS)

scheduled to be held 3 to 7 November 2010. Optimism due to booming sales of motor feels thick JMCS encouraging performances this time. The exhibition is organized by the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) was confirmed to be held with majestic enough because, like JMCS in 2008, to JMCS this time the organizers will also be doing it at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) to occupy the land of 15,000 square meters. However, although tinged optimism, the number of participants in the motor show theme 'Safety Riding and Eco-Friendly' turns out to decrease the number of participants. When in 2006 and 2008 the number reached 6 +1 (6 AISI members plus 1 motor manufacturers outside AISI) of the participants in the year 2010 this number only 5 +1 participants, namely Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and TVS, as well as members non AISI namely Bajaj. AISI members who missed this year is the local motor manufacturer Kanzen. In addition, a total of exhibitors (usually manufacturers of motor accessories) was much reduced. Because when in 2008 the total exhibitor number 90 in the year 2010 organizing committee is only able to capture as many as 30 exhibitors only. But even so, the organizers are optimistic the most prestigious motor show in Indonesia will be able to lure more visitors. The committee at this year's target number of visitors amounted to 270,000 people. Far increase of the number of visitors in 2008 that only around 100,000 visitors, or in 2006 that only 137,068 people.
